A house in Milan with an all-white palette
Swedish-born Annemo Quist Picece, the Italian agent for Danish interiors company Tine K Home, moved to this 1950s oversized family home in Milan and after the renovation, set up a home with office and showroom with a Scandinavian-inspired palette, a mix of white, black, grey and pops of pastel.

A contemporary villa has sprung from the ruins of an old farmhouse in Italy’s Umbrian countryside. Its Rome-based owners inherited the old San Pellegrino building from their grandparents, but it was no longer fit for habitation. Enlisting the talents of Italian architect Pia Karin Spreafico, they created a new holiday home to sit on top of the old, and make the most of its hilltop views. And though it looks traditional from the outside, the San Pellegrino villa’s interiors blurr Scandi and Italian influences to create minimal white spaces with surprising volumes. Lofty, beamed ceilings and rustic wooden floors combine with white walls, concrete fireplaces and contemporary furniture.

Impremta Garden, An urban residence in Palma, Mallorca
Scandinavian meets Spanish in this stunning urban residence in Palma, Mallorca. Spain based architecture firm AVW Arquitectura and Stockholm based interior designers Whyte Lilja collaborated on Impremta Garden, an apartment complex housed in a 400 year old building. 12 flawless units were designed with modern amenities, extra high ceilings and outdoor gardens, while still maintaining the structure’s historical character with its original beams, Chevron patterned oak floors and natural textures.
